LSU LB Target Tyler Dunning Commits To Mississippi State

Four-star LSU linebacker target Tyler Dunning from Fort Lauderdale, FL announced Wednesday night via Twitter that he has committed to Mississippi State.

Dunning is rated the No. 9 inside linebacker in the country for 2017, according to ESPN and 247 Sports.

The news comes just a few days after Dunning was on LSU's campus for the spring day and month after the 6-1, 230-pound prospect included the Tigers in his top five schools.

Mississippi State was ironically not in Dunning's original top five...

Wow, he just went completely left field. Don't think this commitment will last that long. Probably decommits a week before the Senior Bowl so he can commit again there...

I love how recruits say they are "committed" rather than "I will be attending" or "I will be playing college football for". It's obvious that committing is not choosing your school but for getting Twitter and media attention before you choose your school.

Why would anybody want to play at Mississippi State right now? They're in a serious rebuilding mode, while LSU has potentially one of the best all-around staffs in the nation. Aranda, Orgeron, and Craig will get you ready.
