Rising safety Jhase Thomas from Destrehan, La., announced his commitment to LSU on Saturday.
Thomas chose the Tigers over Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Colorado, and Houston.
Thomas is rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports but recently earned four-star status with On3.
His father is former Saints cornerback Fred Thomas.
LSU now has 16 commitments for the class of 2025 with the Thomas' verbal pledge.
