Four-star 2026 New Orleans defensive lineman Richard Anderson announced his commitment to LSU on Friday night.

Anderson, a 6-4, 325-pound from Edna Karr High School, chose the Tigers over Ole Miss, Florida State, and others.

Anderson is rated the No. 13 defensive lineman in the country and the No. 7 overall player from Louisiana for the class of 2026, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He is LSU's first commitment for the class of 2026.
