The LSU coaching staff extended an offer to five-star 2028 quarterback Christopher Vargas.
The 6-4, 175-pound passer from St. John's Prep in Danvers, Mass., is the No. 1 quarterback for the class of 2028 and the No. 5 overall player in the country.
As you can imagine, Vargas holds offers from many major college football programs, including LSU, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and more.
LSU currently does not have any commitments for the class of 2028, and holds five commitments for the class of 2027, including four-star quarterback Peyton Houston.
