Former NBA star Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, who played under the name Chris Jackson during his years at LSU, put on quite a show in the Big 3 League over the weekend, scoring 20 points and hitting the game-winning shot to give his team the 51-49 victory.

Not too shabby for a 49-year old...

I still say he played in the greatest game I've ever been to. LSU vs Loyola Marymount in 1990. We won, but OMG I was glad I didn't have a heart condition! LSU 148, LMU 141 (Ot)

I was too young to remember being at this game, but every time I see the replay coming on tv, I watch it. Great game.

Someone hates Muslims enough to downvote every good comment about one of the best to ever do it.

Yeah, and it's stupid as hell because Christians are just as corrupt, all religions are corrupt. But The Muslims that do the bombings and horrible things are called extremists, not to be confused with the good, faithful Muslim people out there, but they always are.

I cried when he went pro. My Grandfather called my uncle who was Dean of Administrations at LSU and he got me autographed picture of Chris Jackson and an autographed picture of the whole team from that year.

Love it! CJ always said he wanted to play competitively until he was 50. Still has the same beautiful stroke. Only thing we didn't see was that top of the key, ankle breaking cross-over between his legs leading to the straight up and down 3 pointer as the defender is still falling backwards.

I was too young to have watched CJ, but always enjoyed his highlights. Pretty cool to see him turning the clock back like this. Shooters never lose their touch.
