Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports
Former LSU combo guard Kieran Hayward announced this week that he has committed to UMass.

The Sydney, Australia native announced this offseason that he will be transferring out of the LSU Basketball program. He averaged 8.2 minutes and 1.2 points per game as a true freshman with the Tigers last season.

Hayward will sit out next season per NCAA transfer rules and have three years of eligibility remaining.

If he couldn't crack JJ's starting 5, I doubt this is a big loss. Best of luck! Just saying
