Talented LSU point guard Tremont Waters has announced that he will return to Baton Rouge for his sophomore season after removing his name from the 2018 NBA draft.

Waters made his announcement late Tuesday night on his Instagram account.
quote:

"I'll be the first to say this... throughout the process of visiting NBA teams and working out, it's been a blessing that words cant describe...

I grasped a greater understanding of the difference between college and the NBA!! its done nothing but help me grow and understand the severity of the next level...

I have some improving to do but I'll be up there soon to give the NBA a headache too...

"But ... I feel it's best that I return to LSU this year and continue to improve as a player, teammate, and most importantly a young MAN!"
He also posted this picture with a caption that said: "Clap it up if you're ready for year 2."

I have a feeling this coming basketball season will be one of the, if not the, greatest season's in the men's basketball history. There's definitely been some great individual seasons by extraordinary players, and a few extraordinary seasons from a team standpoint. Obviously the best season was the 1980 '81 season where the team made the final four and finished with a 31 and 5 win loss record. This coming season this team has a lot of new and very talented players coming in. The overall athleticism of this team is scary good. Wade will put the pieces together and they will be very hard to handle. I'd love to see LSU and Duke play at some point next season. This may be the year we LSU basketball fans have been waiting to see for a long time. With a lightening flash and a thunder roll, the arena is lit with purple and gold. We Will Rock!!!!!
