LSU freshman power forward Emmitt Williams has withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft and will return to the team for the 2019-2020 season, according to College Hoops Insider Jon Rothstein.

LSU later confirmed the news.

The Fort Myers, Florida native averaged 7.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game last season.

Very glad to have him back. He was my favorite player on the team by a lot. Very talented and played with a ton of heart and energy. Dude will have a tremendous sophomore year/career here. Happy for him.

With this it finally feels like we are back to where we would have been if all that BS didn't happen this year. Feels amazing

Pretty sure I've read that Naz can't return as he didn't request a pre-draft evaluation. Same with Waters.

Nice! He has the potential to develop into an all-SEC first-teamer. Will be great to see him develop.

Shocker. I hate this routine of "entering" the draft and then withdrawing. Williams was NEVER going to be drafted and was never serious about leaving school. Freshmen role players making the big announcement that they're returning for their soph year .... LOL..........Just stop.

Better get use to it. As an aspiring NBA player, why wouldn't you "enter," get feedback and return. It's completely within the rules. Now these big announcements- I'm with you.

Finally, all the b-ball players made correct choices other than Naz and Tremonte

Tremonte’s draft stock wouldn’t get any higher IMO
