Now that LSU's football season is over, freshman tight end Trey'Dez Green officially joined the basketball team ahead of Tuesday night's game against Arkansas at the PMAC.

Green, a former five-star tight end from Jackson, La., was also a standout basketball player at Zachary High School, where he received school offers to play both sports.

On the football field, Green caught 13 passes for 101 yards and four touchdowns this past season. He is expected to be a major contributor on offense in 2025.
