ESPN's Jeff Goodman is reporting that LSU freshman Ben Simmons will officially hire an agent and declare for the NBA draft.
quote:

"I'm making it official," Simmons said late Sunday night.

The 6-foot-10 Australian averaged 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game this past season for the Tigers, who finished a disappointing 19-14 overall and 11-7 in the SEC, failing to make the NCAA tournament.
Simmons reportedly signed with LeBron James-funded agency Klutch Sports last week, but today's news confirms that the freshman phenom is headed to the Draft.

"He represented LSU well." Really?? I saw a guy who seemed to not care one bit about the team and was merely biding his time until the draft. The only reason he's here is because his godfather is on the coaching staff. I don't think he gives a single shite about LSU. I mean, he didn't get arrested or anything like that, but no, I don't think he represented us well at all.

good for him. I wish him well. He represented LSU well. It's unfortunate the how the media built him up to tear him down........and how our sheepish fan base piled on
