Ben Simmons took to Instagram on Wednesday to thank his LSU teammates, coaches and fans. Here is what he said:

Why is everyone down on Ben? The only real thing he did wrong was quit in the TexasA&M SEC Tournament game, sure he could've been more aggressive is some games but that's not his game we're not used to seeing overseas players. Shaq in his prime would not have made the tournament with this team and coaching staff. this kid will get to the NBA and do very well and he always will represent Louisiana State University as long as he is in an NBA lineup

This is why the 1 year rule need to be done away with. What on "God's green earth"does one year in college does? Absolutely nothing but forces kids to waste a whole year in college. It's not his fault but the flawed system created to create more revenue for the ncaa.

Probably getting LSU confused with Monteverde Academy. His time with us was so brief and upsetting. He just wants to leave it in the past without the lose of fans.Dont hold it against him he left with nothing to lose only to gain. Why stay one more year and risk coach JJ ruin you more than he already has.
