Baseball America released its NCAA Baseball Tournament Projections on Wednesday morning.

According to the projections, LSU is among the first four teams to miss the tournament.

The Tigers are currently (32-18, 9-15 SEC) with two SEC series left to play vs. Alabama and Ole Miss. LSU will need to win both series to have a chance at making it to the postseason.

61. Florida
62. Coastal Carolina
63. St. John’s
64. Indiana

First Four Out
65. Xavier
66. Utah
67. LSU
68. California

Next Four Out
69. Charleston
70. Georgia Tech
71. Illinois
72. Cincinnati

No one that watches baseball actually believes that LSU isn't one of the best 64 teams in the country. They can't beat anybody.

Both LSU & UF are going to give someone fits in the regional brackets.....shows how deep the SEC is this season. Need Jump & Holman to 'set the pace' again this weekend from the bump.

Think we already figured we would be out if we didn’t win our next two series or 4 out of 6.

They are underestimating this team. I think our pitching is coming around and if we get some timely hitting we will win these next two series and we are in!!

2/3 the next two weekends puts us at 13-17 SEC but 36-20 overall, with a chance to pick up a win or two in Hoover. 37-38 overall wins is going to be hard to keep out of the tournament.
