The largest example of a stolen championship I’ve ever seen. It’s common after the last kneel for players to come on field, shake hands, Lee rate, remove helmets, etc. This is a perfect example of why refs have the reputation of being some of the dumbest humans on the planet.

#50 is definitely NOT getting laid tonight. Hope Auburn is recruiting him.

The helmet throw penalty was insanely ignorant, but the kid putting a 45 yd FG from the hash down the middle and into the net to win state was pretty amazing as well

He drilled that kick. Knew it the second he made contact it was good. Hey LSU, are you paying attention?

How did it go from 2nd and 10 to 4th and 40 in 6s? I know the yardage addition from the penalty but 2 downs burned in just 6 secs?

St. Charles still had two time outs left. The penalty stopped the clock, then they called time outs on 3rd and 4th down. Shaw lined up in a shotgun for their kneeldowns and lost 7 additional yards each play.

Also... after the penalty, the scoreboard briefly showed 2nd. and 10...but that was a mistake. It soon showed 2nd. and 25 which was correct.

Excellent information. What was the penalty though? Excessive celebration? If so, that kid is feel that mistake for his entire life, especially until he grads HS.
