Last week Georgia freshman London Seymour, the son of three-time Super Bowl champion Richard Seymour, was arrested on 11 counts of second-degree criminal property damage in the state of Georgia. He was booked last Thursday and posted bond shortly after... Now they're saying TikTok was to blame...
quote:

Here’s where things get interesting. Speaking to the Athens Banner-Herald on Thursday, Seymour’s lawyer Kim Stephens explained that he had simply been participating in a viral TikTok challenge called the “Door Kick Challenge.”

The Door Kick Challenge is apparently a spinoff of the old “ding-dong-ditch” prank but instead of ringing doorbells and running away, the participants instead aggressively kick and bang on random doors – often at night – before running away. As you might expect, such behavior runs the risk of damaging doors and property.

How does participating in a TikTok challenge absolve anybody from committing a crime? what an insult that this guy‘s attorney would even bring that up… if the judge buys it, we are totally fricked as a society.

Social media, Facebook, X, IG, TikTok, etc are pure poisonous and should be avoided at all cost.

"such behavior runs the risk of damaging doors and property." Kicking my door in the middle of the night would probably mean the door is not the only thing that gets damaged.

Wow, how many of these “participants” have been shot while doing this?
