The former four-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class will be able to play immediately. After playing in a reserve role for most of his career with the Bulldogs, he played in 12 games on the offensive line this past season. The offensive tackle helped Georgia rank first in the SEC and seventh nationally in sacks allowed at .93 per game.

The Bulldogs also finished second in the SEC and fifth in the nation in total offense, averaging 496.5 yards. A top-200 recruit, Chad Lindberg picked Georgia over Notre Dame and Ohio State coming out of high school.
