Former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck announced his commitment to Miami on Friday afternoon.
Beck entered the transfer portal on Thursday after a reported 'sour' breakup with Georgia. He originally stated that he planned to enter the NFL draft, but now he's off to Miami.
The redshirt senior from Jacksonville, Fla., threw for 3,485 yards and 28 touchdowns this season. He suffered a season-ending elbow injury in the SEC Championship that required surgery.
Beck totaled 7,912 passing yards and 58 touchdowns over the last three seasons at Georgia.
Beck will likely miss spring practice but should be ready in the fall.
