Ryan Seacrest is a candidate, and in discussions, to take the reins from the outgoing Pat Sajak as the next host of "Wheel of Fortune"...
quote:

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Ryan is an option to replace Pat and he's been talking to Sony about potentially taking over for the retiring host. We're told Ryan has some time in his schedule now to possibly make this work, as he's no longer on "LIVE with Kelly and Ryan."

Would rather jump off a cliff.

At 750k an episode you'd at least be dying wealthy.

Get Blossom to take over Wheel. Will Ferrell can take over Jeopardy.

I kinda like that idea. Those two are a hoot in their commercials.

I wouldn't mind a Wayne Brady taking Pat's place. His daughter could take over for Vanna. I could see a Seacrest though.

He’s way too white for that role in modern times.

Not a good fit IMO. Need and older person

Sajak took over at 37. Seacrest turns 50 on his next birthday. Like how old do you theoretically need this person to be?

Agree. The audience is a lot older than when Sajak started. Fifty would be good. But I thought his daughter/granddaughter was going to be part of the show.
