This guy is oblivious or doesn't give a shite about bike races, either way, he took down two cyclists by simply crossing the street...

Ohno, you must be one of those types who like a long hard plastic probe jammed and gyrated into your taint for hours on end...

I ve seen some pretty bad accidents from oblivious drivers on closed race courses for triathlons. Even with cops at an intersection holding traffic. Someone tries to sneak through not realizing just how fast the bikes are coming. Scary accidents with people leaving on stretchers. It's actually impressive the dent a human body can leave in the side of a car.

He should sue the cyclists. Why does the whole city have to be inconvenienced so that these nerds in tight shorts can exercise? Buy a stationary bike.

It's called a race, and it brings lots of money to those towns. And in the U.s. bikes have every right to be on roads and in most states are required to be on roads and not sidewalks. Also, is the couple of seconds of "inconvenience" really that big of a deal? LINK

Why does half the city of Baton Rouge have to be inconvenienced so people can watch a football game most Saturdays in the fall?

Then sue the city for allowing the race. Why go after the cyclists who has the right of way?

failure to yield to pedestrian in crosswalk cost those cyclists the race.... and should get them a ticket. bikes follow the same rules as automobiles.

You must have missed all the purposefully placed bright orange cones, trying desperately but unsuccessfully to gain his myopic attention to prevent just this sort of thing from happening.

Know what's different...there are cameras to capture it. If there's a group of 5-10 riders they aren't following the rules and plowing intersections too.

That cyclist has the instincts of a squirrel. He actually started to veer to the right which caused a direct hit.
