16-year-old high school junior Holly Neher of Hollywood Hills High School in South Florida, threw a 42-yard touchdown pass Thursday in the fourth quarter of her team’s 21-7 loss to Hallandale High School...

She became the first female QB from her school, and possibly in the state of Florida, to throw a touchdown pass in a game.

That was terrible. She didn't even hold the ball correctly which is why it floated up there. The receiver saved her from shame. Seems staged to some extent.

We had a girl for a few weeks on the team. She decided she wanted to play D-line. The d-line or o-line didn't like that. She practiced for about a week and was "hurt" for the other 2. She left after that.

There was a chick on the football team at my school. She didn't play but she was fricking huge. Not really fat, just big. Probably 6'2 260 in high school.

Pretty bad pass, luckily her receiver bailed her out.

Why is everyone hating? It was a high school game and they put her in, in the 4th quarter. I give her credit for going out there. She is only 5'2. That's crazy.

I don't think anyone is hating on the girl per se. They just don't like seeing news media and the internet portray this as some sort of glass ceiling being broken and that we're all of a sudden going to start seeing football teams led by female QBs. Good for the girl. That's a neat moment for her. But let's call a spade a spade. She tossed it up and her WR did the rest of the work.

Gee whiz. What are we coming to in this country? I mean look at her. It is a damn joke. She has a physique of well, a girl. Pathetic.

That safety in cover 2 couldn't get there in time on that moon ball? Turroble

She can't even grip her hand around the ball. Watch when she throws, she holds her hand flat so the ball can just rest on her palm instead of actually gripping the ball.

That was goddamn awful. Corntooth McSharkfricker is probably on the horn with her now

She throws like a girl.

Maybe bucktooth yellow teeth can sign her up. She's probably as good as Franks is now. Glad LSU dodged that bullet.

what a let down. So she can heave a rainbow pass 20 yards and have the receiver outfight the defender who conveniently falls down and waltzes in for a TD = The Patriots have their replacement for Brady in sight!!!!

A lot of people hating... at the end of the day she made history. I applaud her, if any of you have daughters you would understand

I have 2 daughters and there's no chance in hell either of them are taking a single step on a football field unless it's in a cheerleaders outfit

If you allow your daughter to possibly get smoked by a 250+ pound linebacker or 300+ pound lineman, you are a terrible father.

I be exploding with pride, were I her father. It was an awful throw, though.

Shark Humper should offer her. Can't be worse than what he's been "coaching up" so far.

Everybody is shitting on the kid, like she didn't do anything special, but she is responsible for the only TD her team scored in the game.

That was actually a bad throw. Looks like she just tossed it up to see what would happen.
