Nine Florida Football players who were suspended back in August for misusing school funds could be arrested soon on charges of felony grand theft, according to The Read Optional.
quote:

Antonio Callaway, Jordan Smith, and one other player are likely to be arrested on charges of felony grand theft, with the possibility of further misdemeanor charges being tagged on, according to a lawyer representing one of the players. It’s anticipated that the other six players will also be arrested, but only three players have hired legal counsel thus far.

The investigation began back in mid-August when seven players were suspended indefinitely from team activities for purchasing electronic items with their school debit cards, selling them for cash, then claiming the cards as stolen, sources have confirmed to The Read Optional.

You get to choose your actions, you don't get to choose the consequences. Sad all the way around.

WTH is Yellow tooth doing keeping these guys on the team and not fully dismissing them....Really sets an example for the rest of the players...

I read they were fully suspended and not even allowed to practice or hang around the team at all. So, yep, it sets an example.

Yanking their scholarships sets an example. Suspending them just teaches them not to get caught.
