People forget that Muschamp was a USC win over Notre Dame away from playing in the national championship. If the playoffs existed in 2012, we’d be in. If Will Grier doesn’t get caught doping, things could have been different for yellow teeth. Hell, even Mullen had us humming in the 2020, if we had a pulse of a defense, we would have been in the playoffs. We are currently down right now, but we’re Florida. We will be back.

Florida being in CFP in 2012 is very debatable. Georgia was 5 yards from beating Bama in the SEC title game in 2012 when the clock ran out. Both teams had one regular season loss, and Georgia beat Florida that year. Not sure the playoff committee would have chosen Florida over Georgia if the CFP were in place then.
