Florida running back Adarius Lemons announced his intentions to transfer out of the program less than an hour after the Gators lost to Kentucky on Saturday night.

On Monday, Dan Mullen commented on Lemons' decision to leave:
quote:

"He's not going to be part of the program anymore, Mullen said. We wish him the best. We'll sign his release for him to go anywhere he wants to go."

Smart move IMO. Escape the flames while you can.

He was a 4th string or 5th string RB at UF and wants playing time, he can probably start for a FCS school or a junior college, best of luck for him in the future, but not a great loss for the Gators.

I'm no Florida fan by any means, but this is about the most chickenshit thing I've ever seen in college football.
