Dude, Its a simple " YES" reply to state that you are prepared to open the side door if an emergency happens,. They ask that question on every airline. If you don't answer , you are removed to another seat. Quit acting like you did everything nice.

If you are ever in Cancun and the next day flying back in the seat this dude was in. Say No and get a new seat. It does not recline and you will be miserable to whole way back to Dallas. Just a rumor I heard.
