According to the Los Angeles Times, the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight on August 26th will cost $89.95 on Pay-Per-View for standard definition and $99.95 for high definition. Pricey, but I get...

I suppose everything is relative. $100 bucks for a few hours of entertainment? I'd be lucky to only lose that at the casino. That is 1 dinner. 1 movie (family of 5).

You are totally right. 100 bucks nowadays is nothing, I'm lucky if I get by on a Saturday only dropping 100

There were literally 100s of youtube live streams of the last Pacquiao fight. Between how easy it is to stream these things (which its not even illegal to watch them only to host it) and how corrupt/worthless judges have become boxing is in a rough spot.

It's like they're begging me to pirate this feed. All I'm hoping for is that McGregor abandons boxing rules and just goes all out MMA whoopass on woman beating Mayweather. Sure, he'll be DQ'd, but he'll still get paid and he won't have to lose a fight to an a-hole while having to adhere to that style's "rules."

It's in the contract that if he does anything outside of the boxing rules he will not get paid.

@MountainCat: So what? It would be hell of a good fight it McGregor feels if he is losing or is actually getting beat up while Floyd runs away in the ring and McGregor goes ape shite MMA on him. Will be a fight for the ages if he does. If not, will be a long boring fight with Floyd running around the ring.

Gumbo, i agree it would be awesome to see McGregor go full MMA and destroy mayweather. My comment was just a response to blueboy saying "he'll get DQ'd, but he'll still get paid" when in fact, he won't.

$100 for what'll be 5-10 minutes of fighting. I could get a better deal with a hot arse hooker for that.

My neighbors in college used to order the fights and charge a few bucks at the door for entry and pizza. We packed the joint.

I will be watching Stanford beat up Rice for free. I am sure the fight will be free on youtube and twitter very shortly after it's conclusion.

Such shite to pay that much money for this fight. I get the name recognition but seems to be a bit much for a fight that's pretty much going to be garbage.
