Auburn athletic director Jay Jacobs spoke with the media this week and expressed that he still stands behind Gus Malzhan as the Tigers football coach. Per AL.com:
quote:

"I believed in Gus when we hired him, I still believe in Gus," Jacobs said following a speech on Tuesday. "Football season is about what, eight-and-a-half months away, and we're excited about what's going to happen."
Auburn end the 2015 season with a 7-6 overall record but finished last in the SEC West at 2-6.
