Auburn athletic director Jay Jacobs spoke with the media this week and expressed that he still stands behind Gus Malzhan as the Tigers football coach. Per

"I believed in Gus when we hired him, I still believe in Gus," Jacobs said following a speech on Tuesday. "Football season is about what, eight-and-a-half months away, and we're excited about what's going to happen."
Auburn end the 2015 season with a 7-6 overall record but finished last in the SEC West at 2-6.
