Arkansas star defensive end Landon Jackson announced that he will forgo his final year of eligibility to enter the 2025 NFL Draft and is expected to skip the Razorbacks bowl game. Per WholeHogSports:

Jackson, a Texarkana, Texas, native, transferred to Arkansas from LSU following his freshman season in 2021. He earned All-SEC last season when he recorded 13.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks, and he is a candidate for all-conference honors following a senior season that included 9.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
“Attending Arkansas is one of the best decisions I have ever made,” Jackson wrote. “I have grown off the field just as much as I have developed on it. I’ve had the opportunity to play for some of the best coaches anybody can ask for.”
NFL scouts are high on Jackson’s upside. Mel Kiper of ESPN ranks Jackson the fourth-best defensive end in next year’s NFL Draft class. CBS Sports ranks him the eighth-best edge rusher available and 36th-best prospect overall.
