USA Today analyst Thinks Alabama Is Still A Top 4 Even Without Tua Tagovailoa
© Jeff Blake-USA TODAY Sports
USA Today college football analyst Danny Sheridan doesn't think Alabama's title run will skip a beat without their star QB Tua Tagovailoa for the rest of the season. I'm sorry, what?!?

I guess he didn’t watch the last game they played, where their backup quarterback only hung three points in the second half against a doormat of a team

The game was over and both teams were mounting up injuries. They got ultra conservative and tried to get off the field...both sides. Don't be obtuse.

Always just about perceived talent and potential it seems.

I mean do you not think they could beat UGA, OU, Oregon, Utah etc? I don't think they deserve to get in but it's not that absurd. After the top 3 you can pretty much draw a name out of a hat of the contenders for the top 4 spot.

Well they got beat by 2 TD's at home by LSU with Tua...so their must be a big game from 1 to 4. Alabama doesn't want to see LSU again....

Bama may lose by 30 points to LSU if there is a next time this season. Their defense is not great and their QB is not all that impressive, they lack senior leadership and not disciplined like they usually are. Lsu will get those names in 2020 as well. Peter parish is really good QB, he is really coming up lately and interested to see what new QB comes to tiger town

Is Danny ready to show us all that evidence he had against Cam Newton yet?

They’re lucky to be considered one of the best four teams in their own conference. You go by actual, not potential.
