I think Saban did a good job trying to protect the PR on the football team, but the truth is this is a black eye for Alabama Athletics Department in general. It won't be forgotten anytime soon.

Nobody remembers the national champion of the tourney outside their locality and alumni base after about a week or two. I legit forgot that Kansas won it last year until the tourney started and someone mentioned they were going for a repeat.
