BS Bama is not for everyone. He has a great gig. There are no guarantees new Bama staff will be successful.

If Saban isn't there, what's the draw? Tuscaloosa is an armpit. It's basically Mississippi... nobody wants to play for that coach that was a 4th or 5th option. Bama needs to settle in for mediocrity. 8-4 will get you in a bowl game before Christmas.

It's true. He wasn't confident in himself to take over full reigns to a defense. DeBoer is giving full control over to the next DC to do whatever he wants.
