Ground Rules?

Just because someone has a fan icon next to their name doesn't mean they're actually a fan of that team. It's a really stupid thing the rant does, but it confuses the shite out of new members. Most ags will have an A&M next to their name because most of us are relatively new and don't see the point.

Don't start new threads until you've posted for a while.

A lot of arkansas and lsu fans will flame and troll a&m. Don't let it get to you and respond to them. Just try to realize this site is for entertainment and even if they're not assholes in real life they will be on here.

With that being said welcome to the rant and enjoy your time.

You can also swear on the rant which I like.

Basically though, don't get too angry when the LSU and Arky fans start trolling you or talking about Texas. That's probably the most important thing. Also, don't repost ANYTHING you see on texags. Ever.

saying negative things isn't the problem here.

its more that a certain person cant act like an adult and needs to spam the board with a million threads bitching about the same subject over and over and over and over.

if that person kept it to one thread he wouldn't come off as such a friggin cry baby.

Don't take anything said negatively about A&M too seriously, lot of trolling. Also second the "don't start any threads for a while" mantra. The Rant has a different feel and pace than Texags. Realize it is an SEC board and not an A&M board, if you are looking for folks on the Rant to marvel at the greatness of A&M on a regular basis you are going to be disappointed.

Personally I think Arky folks like to troll more than anyone, they are kind of funny though with how they talk about the "Flagship" and the greatness of Arky which is more about pride than real belief.

LSU folks are very diverse. You have some absolute idiots and some pretty intelligent ones. There are just a lot of them. LSU and Bama have by far the most posters on the Rant.

One other poster that gets under my skin a bit is USMC Gator. Dude loves the sips and loves to put down A&M in general.

How can you miss it? Just look at the basketball board on texags and note the one poster that's constantly getting called out, then making veiled threats to get people banned.

The reason I keep driving the point home is that I suspect that the person I'm referring to (look at the excessive amount of icons) is one of the pumpers here and I'm trying to get him so pissed off that he whines about it. If that's not the case, I apologize and will back off.

This is going to turn into a thread derail but so be it.

I read through that entire thread and have to say you are overreacting. You are very close to crossing the line into "if you say anything positive about the coach or want to support the team you are a bad Ag" territory. I understand your frustration but we don't fire coaches midseason unless there is something really bad going on and we aren't close to that. Express your disappointment all you wish but attacking others for not being as negative as you are, esp when they are primarily arguing for just supporting the team, severely damages your credibility.

The season will be over soon enough and BK will either stay or go but I will never fault someone for supporting the team through thick and thin. If you want BK gone and refuse to support the team until he is (and I don't know that that is what you are saying) that's fine, attacking those who are simply trying to find the positives though even when they share the same disappointments doesn't reflect well of you. Do as you like though.

None of what you said challenges the obvious: Just as Mike Sherman needed a minor miracle to save his job in year 3, Kennedy will need the same.

The "he needs his players excuse" is refusing to point out the obvious: He is in WAY over his head.
