I agree
Belichick has left the Patriots

Wonder where he will end up?

If anything it's our defense that is outdated. A young built on the fly during the season with 1st time starters all over it, yes, that's our offense.

Reality happened.
When your in an actual game the defense is not running a play, they are trying to destroy you. They are nit practicing on how to react to certain formations, how to fill gaps, cover WRs etc etc.
Or perhaps the people who said they were there really weren't.
The truth of the matter is we had at best a 1st time starting sophomore at QB. shite doesn't get more raw than that.

Milroe and Our OC

We spent the entire spring, summer, fall camp, and first 3 games of the year with a QB competition.
I am not saying that it was not warranted but it is what happened.
With that said we literally developed, designed and implemented an offense on the fly throughout the final 9 games.
We now have an entire off season, that includes the spring, summer, and fall practice to tweak, and rep thousands of times each play over and over. Getting it to where we can execute our offense in our sleep.
While I would welcome a new O-Line coach, I truly hope that our OC and QB are set.
Anyone who thought we were anything but an overarching young team this year is not being realistic IMHO.
Just my 2 cents.

He never talks good about Bama. He hates Bama.
All 4 teams are or will be big 10 or SEC

Neat
You have to feel good for Josh Dobbs

I hate Tennessee with every fiber in my soul. With that being said, if you can't watch Josh Dobbs and feel good for the kid something is wrong with you.

We would call Sark, Kiffin, or Dabo.
re: When was the last time Tennessee beat a good, great or elite Alabama team?

Bama will not win if Milroe is the starter. We have a chance with the Freshman if he has any passing skills, and will win if Bryce is 90% +

re: BowlJackson's Top 5 candidates for Auburn football HC in 2023

Honestly, Auburn needs to hire Willey Fritz.
- Very solid Coach.
- Great recruiting ties.
- Knows the South.
- Would be his last stop.
- Gives Auburn the chance to bring someone in that can right the ship and get rid of all the overhead in ex-coaches salary.
- Lets you encourage him to bring in some assistants like Cadillac, Lashlee, etc etc that can be groomed to take over eventually.
It is a solid hire like Sam Pittman. Not Flashy. It is a great solid option.
They will never do it.

I agree with this post 1 million percent. I think Tennessee is as strong in coaching and talent as just about anyone in the conference. I mean even Vandy has a very good QB and it looks like that Coaching staff has things going in the right direction.
Top to Bottom, SEC East to SEC West is about as strong as I can remember.

lol
This post makes me think of Bama vs Michigan State in 2011 or so in a bowl game. Both were in the top 5 I think.
Michigan State during the game during the 1st half had a 1st and goal around the 5 yard line. By 4th down they had to punt. It wasn't because of penalties either. Bama just said you shall not pass, like the LOTR wizard dude.
It was funny but eye opening reading the Michigan State forum post the following Monday. I think that is where that particular feature started, I could be wrong as I am an old man now and don't remember things like I used to.
You never know how a team is going to play and what will happen, but Alabama normally doesn't try to run up the score or embarrass teams. Especially with Saban as he likes to get young guys real game time experience once the game is no longer in doubt.
A few exceptions like The Ole Miss game last year where Lane basically begged for a beat-down and got it. Sort of like Jimbo is doing this year.
Long winded way of saying - it is not just one guy. basically any of about 50 guys could have a breakout game and curb stomp / jail sex you.

re: BAMA snubbed its Band per Liberal Rag, Austin American Statesman…
Posted by clay3482 on 9/9/22 at 11:18 am
It really is not about the band. It is about respect.
Examples of respect are Alabama fans giving coaches like Paterno, and Bowden standing ovations.
Oklahoma playing the Alabama Fight song to aTm and Coach Fran in the 80 point beatdown.
The Cigar tradition between Alabama and Tennessee.
The general SEC fan pulling for SEC teams. Chanting SEC SEC SEC and then in the next breath giving them hell because well Rivalries are fun but we are all a family.
I hate Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and LSU but respect them, appreciate them, and even to some extent Love them at the same time. With that said while I might say I would like to see Oregon Beat Georgia - I had a big smile on my face as I watched UGA show those PNW liberals what real football is about.
Texas is used to dominating everyone. They are used to getting their way. They are spoiled. The truth is Oklahoma, and Texas coming to the SEC while it makes their brand better, and the SEC it also makes both schools equal to Vanderbilt.
You better get tough, and learn good sportsmanship or you will have a very hard time in the SEC not only from the teams but from the fans. If you think you are better than everyone else then you are wrong.
The idiot talking about not wanting to waste revenue on taking the band is moronic. The big difference between Top level College programs and the NFL is the passions and the pageantry ... in short the atmosphere.
Watching a White out at PSU, or seeing the Eagle land at Jordan Haire, or seeing the LSU band at night in Death Valley are all parts of what makes the college game magical.
Recruiting is the life blood of any program. If Texas fans think for one minute that shoving opposing fans and the bands in the upper decks helps recruiting they are wrong. You are killing the atmosphere that makes young kids eyes go wide. You can literally feel the sound at the SEC stadiums.
This Band issue while stupid shows me that Sark does not have his pulse on EVERYTHING or is not in total control. No way would Mrs. Terry not want the Texas Band in the lower section at Alabama and No way would Coach Saban let it stand either.
Texas, and Sark not being in control over such a petty thing makes me understand that Texas is a lot further away from their dominance of old than I thought. Sad, I was hoping for another team like LSU to hate - but hopefully Oklahoma will prove to take football seriously.
