"talking shite about a sport Tennessee has never even won a championship in."""

Atrocious grammar aside, UT just won 2 different championships in baseball, all within the last month.

What did your crappy team do within the last month?

This isn't 1950. The NIT is a consolation tourney.

Any real program would turn it down.

Only the absolute scrubbiest of the scrubs would accept.
So Georgia fans need to whip out the ol' antennae?

Oh wait they won't make it unless a couple of SEC teams opt out.

...

Hey, a couple of SEC teams opted out!

:nana:

Oh wow, you didn't even get in the tourney. You must have really, really sucked.

So, what bracket of the NIT are you in, then?

quote:

Id love to see SC and UT play. A rubber match for what has been a fantastic 2 games played

I doubt many UT fans would want to face SC again.

Which bracket is Georgia in?

NIL is here because of Nick Saban and his cheating.

Ultimately, the final trigger was when he sicc'ed the NCAA on Tennessee, and Tennessee kicked him and the NCAA in the teeth.

All roads lead back to Nick Saban.

That MSU-LSU game was like watching a cripple fight.
"Thanks a lot you idiot"

You seem perpetually triggered. Uber-melted, as it were.

But we get it. No more advantage for your team. No more NCAA on a leash, no more having your own personal attack dog to use against other programs. No more paying to stock five star talent, while keeping other teams from doing the same.

We get it. You're melting bad.

It's funny, tho.
I had the intellivision football, basketball and baseball.

They were all awesome. I wish I still had them.

This was KY's super bowl.

Tennessee didn't care, it was palpable.

Carpet-bagging yankee doesn't know the difference between dipping and chewing.
I'll wager that when Lonnie Utah posted up this informative, non-confrontational thread, he didn't realize he would cause all the USC pantywaist whineybabies to come crawling out of the woodwork to try and make him look dumb.
As a neutral observer, I say Tennessee will kick Kentucky in the nads.
I see now why people around here make fun of you so much.

Georgia was "closer than some people thought" to landing 2024 five-star wide receiver Mike Matthews, a Georgia native that signed with Tennessee in December.

And there is our competitive playing field. Five years ago Tennessee would have garnered a few serious infractions from the NCAA for this episode and Georgia would have skated, protected by that same NCAA.

It's easy to see why Georgia fans are scared to lose the NCAA. They can now be outbid by programs with deeper pockets.
7 in a row?

I would call that ownage.
quote:

On top of being completely wrong about the case just like captdolton. Truly embarrassing thread for you imbeciles just as I predicted.

After reading through most of that thread, and as a neutral observer, I agree with Big Orange Bri.

That tennessee OP guy was right about almost everything he predicted. It happened just as he said, all the way down to the NCAA backpedalling on the investigation.

Captdalton and jonnyanony were wrong on pretty much all points.

And the 'Spyre being a person' exchange was plain embarrassing.
quote:

Why are some fan bases scared of the NCAA losing power?

It's mainly the fans of teams who had the NCAA in their pockets.

Of course they want the NCAA to keep its power.

Football is a complete mess.

Well, Florida certainly is.

They're going to be down for a long time. Maybe a decade at least.

They're entering the long dark of bad times.
