I hope they do something about the balls, though. I know the pace is here to stay, and I guess the strike zone as well. But as much as I like hitting home runs, I don't like seeing pop ups leave the yard against us, and I'm sure pitchers would agree.

How many pop ups did you see leave the yard? Outside of the Florida game with a 30 mph wind blowing out. I do not recall a bunch. Leave the ball alone college baseball is fun to watch again. Teams playing in little league parks is the main reason for so many HR

Jake Brown already has more than 725K before he steps on campus. Lmao

Jake Brown's dad said he would be at LSU unless he got first round money. I sat next to him and Jake for the first Wake Forest game in Omaha

Jobert allowed at least a few extra bases in LF. One was on Friday when he just gave on a ball that was easily his not realizing how deep Crews was playing. And again yesterday on a ball off the wall that he horribly misplayed. That doesn’t favor in the fly balls that he was completely uncomfortable trying to catch.

He didn't give up on the ball on Friday he was playing the line and ran just as far as Crews you did you even watch the game. I must have missed the one he miss played Yesterday off the wall or did he let crews field it because crews had better angle to throw the ball in and keep runners from advancing.

Since his HR vs Samford on Saturday he’s 3-15 with 3 singles.

He is also 3 for 3 in scoring runners from 3rd with less than 2 outs. I guess you would rather watch jones swing and miss or kling just hold the bat. I like the way coach is giving everyone a chance. Unless someone catches fire they all going to rotate. You just CHERRY Jobert bad stats

Is Jobert doing enough at the plate to continue to start? I do not think. Furthermore, he is a liability in the field. If he is not hitting, then not sure what you have there.

I don't understand your hate of Jobert He was 3 for 11 2 runs 2 RBI 2BB 4 Ks not great but not awful. Jobert not near as bad on defense as you make out

Jones was 1/9 2 runs 3BB 7 Ks

Kling is 1 for last 16 1BB 8 Ks

For several years now LSU can not hit lefty pitching.

Non conference games have always been able to be run rule games if both coaches agree to it before hand.

I'm pretty sure that it's the visiting coach that makes the decision. Johnson has said many times that he doesn't want it

Jobert shouldn't be included in that list.

Jobert has hit into the worst luck on the team. He has the 2nd highest exit Velo on the team coming into the weekend. Nobody else in college baseball has an 8 hole hitter whose hit 18 HR in a season 9 of those during SEC play.
CCU is still putting in pitchers getting their first action of the year. It would only help them in the long run. It's not like Jay wasn't emptying the bench early yesterday

My biggest problem with Jobert is he's extremely inconsistent (best hitter on the team or he can't hit a ball off a high school pitcher

Jobert had one bad at bat yesterday. the other 3 he hit the ball good just right at someone. Who you going to replace him with other 3rd basement is batting .150 and the other outfielders are not doing any better either
Make it know up front no 10 run rule. If the teams wants to play with 10 run rule schedule someone else
Seemed like he could have pulled the string at 0-2 and sat them down rather than throw 3-4 extra pitches per batter.

You do realize he only threw 85 pitches in 6 innings with 13 strike outs. That's an average of just over 15 pitches per inning. Your not going to strike every batter out with 3 pitches

Ignorance and dumb as most of you are...it hasn't stopped storming since replay was supposed to start at 7:45

What about Ole Piss refusing to finish the game today or next week. This should be counted as a forfeit for Ole Miss chicken shite team

Did you watch last night? 14K's?

Do you not know that Skenes has a 35% strikeout rate in WAC doubt he helps that number any
quote:

Jac Caglianone currently has a 1.600 OPS with 7 homers, 11 innnings pitched, a 2.38 ERA and 15 strikeouts.

He started half of Florida games last year in the line up because he couldn't pitch. He is their Sunday start but he is way more important to their line up than Skenes would be to LSU's line up. Florida doesn't have a Jones, Pearson, Kling, Frey, Travinski sitting on the bench to take Caglianone place in the line up.

Well jobert isnt exactly crushing it, and beloso has done it at this level before

Before you say anything else this stupid. How about looking at the season stats
I would throw shores saturday Iowa lineup is mostly righties and Sam Houston is a pretty good hitting team

I think He share 2B with Dugas against RHP and Dugas starts against all LHP.

No way you take Dugas out of the lineup unless he starts to struggle. He was LSU best hitter this weekend and took the best at bats

In the last 10 years, how many players have we lost from getting hit by a pitch?

Just last year you lost Berry for 2 weekends just when he was coming off the first injury. He got hit on the opposite hand against vandy

Give them the option for ticket else where or no tickets at all. Most will take the tickets in other sections the others don't matter
