This is silly.
Pretty much all of these schools are the same shite (state university) with the exception of Vandy, Florida, Texas and TAMU.
Texas is the best school here considering upward potential and # of alumni. Vandy follows, average kid is better than UT but the top 100 kids at UT are mor...

People want to see them land in the PAC or another P5/4(?) conference. But people don't care as much as losing Nebraska or Texas. OSU always had a lot more to gain in the matchup - it's a perpetual trap game for us, along with most of the other Big 12 opponents....

You could add Stanford, Northwestern, MIT, Harvard, Yale, The University of Science, etc - and it would NEVER raise the academic profile of LSU.
