Landthieves was the OG Oklahoma message board. It had a nice design, 15+ yrs of posting history.
Landthieves and ShaggyBevo (Texas one) were linked somehow. I don't remember the exact story, but it was something like a UT grad created and hosted both websites. For some reason he decided to stop hosting it or something (maybe someone else was managing it at the point). But the jist of it was that both forums just disappeared one day (this was sometime over the past 2-3 yrs.)
Both SurlyHorns and DirtBurglars were created as the replacements.
It's a shame the DirtBurglars is the replacement for OU - the original Landthieves forum was so nice. I think a lot of original OU users just ditched message boards and went Twitter only after that.

This is silly.
Pretty much all of these schools are the same shite (state university) with the exception of Vandy, Florida, Texas and TAMU.
Texas is the best school here considering upward potential and # of alumni. Vandy follows, average kid is better than UT but the top 100 kids at UT are more impressive.
Florida is a great flagship. TAMU is good for engineering, especially petroleum.
And then it's pretty much the same shite after that - unless you really want to be a journalist lol

People want to see them land in the PAC or another P5/4(?) conference. But people don't care as much as losing Nebraska or Texas. OSU always had a lot more to gain in the matchup - it's a perpetual trap game for us, along with most of the other Big 12 opponents.

You could add Stanford, Northwestern, MIT, Harvard, Yale, The University of Science, etc - and it would NEVER raise the academic profile of LSU.
