Some say 2006-2009 was peak college football.

How do you compare teams from different eras? Is it possible to determine the GOAT: 01 Miami, 04USC, 08Gators, 2020Bama?

I feel like the teams of today would get eaten alive in eras of yesterday. None of this you tickle a WR and it’s an ejection. I’m so sick of the new targeting rule and the advantage offense has over defense. I want blood and bones.

Absolutely not. 1998-2005

Players are bigger and faster today. Offenses are way more sophisticated as well. 2019 LSU and 2020 Bama would destroy every team before the year 2005 except for 2001 Miami

Actually it would depend on which era’s rules they would play under. Today’s teams would struggle under how the game was played 25 years whereas those teams would be a fish out of water today.,
So it is really impossible to compare.
