1. No automatic First Down Penalties - Move the yardage; gets a first down - GREAT; doesn't - doesn't.
2. No Half the distance to the goal penalties. If the ball would be moved to the end zone on a penalty = ball is spotted on the 1. Just like for PI in the end zone.

Where the year two rotate off the year ones become year twos and 3 new year ones roll on. This way your schedule has consistency while still being different each year. Just my two cent...

What's crazy is last weekend, my son wanted to watch a movie and chose Holes - it was crazy to me how much I got some of the same vibes (yes it wasn't as dark, but still pretty dark with the child abuse - especially for a kids movie).
