I'm talking about how covid has expedited the NCAA vs compensating athletes bubble. I think players legally deserve it. But from the view of a fan, I think it will the ruin the game eventually.

I would rather there be a black market for boosters paying players and the NCAA turning a blind eye to EVERY school.

I don't proof read internet forum posts. My point is I see why star players with commercial value deserve to be paid, but I don't see why a player that doesn't play deserves more than his 200k scholarship.

Is it just me or does it feel like covid-19 is the beginning of the end? I believe SOME players deserve to be paid (Cam Newton, Joe Burrow types). I don't agree with Walk-Ons and 3rd string players getting paid though. Once the players keep gaining more rights, more issues will arise and cause internal disfunction within Athletic Departments. As an Ole Miss fan, I obviously hate the NCAA. But I do see their logic that paying amateur athletes will ruin college football. Do you care more about enjoying the game like we always have or having the spirit/attitude of college football become non-existent? There's a reason why college football is better than the NFL.
