I realized that my team losing made me angry but even after they won, I felt nothing. I decided to step away and pursue other interests for a while.

Grew up in Alabama as a kid then moved to Texas in HS before going to A&M. Dad went to A&M so I knew the Junction boys story and Bear Bryant’s history. The connection between both schools with Bryant/Stallings etc. was interesting. I have been to nearly every game in this series since 2012. It sucks that this is the last time we will play each other on an annual basis. There have been a lot of great moments. Should be a good one on Saturday.

College Gameday is coming to town for what could be a good game and great atmosphere but it seems like Ole Miss fans aren’t that excited. Hope I’m wrong. I’ll be there this weekend, Oxford is my favorite SEC campus

I posted this earlier today but the reason no one is shite talking is because neither fan base respects the other. Auburn fans think we are on par with Vanderbilt so they don’t bother. We feel the same. We are both very wrong. Gonna be a good one tmrw

Longhorns are the deadbeat varsity QB who still lives in our hometown. On and off again with the same girl. We pity them when we come home to see the our folks. Shame
Theory about the Auburn-A&M series

It’s wild that the home team is 1-8 in this series, Auburn in 2018 being the only home team win.
My theory is that players, coaches, and even fans fall into a false sense of security because they think “we’re at home, we got this”. Meanwhile the away team puts in more focus and work because they feel they have to. Both of our fan bases don’t take this game very seriously compared to say Bama/LSU for example

Im with ya. Bama is obviously the best team in CFB, but that doesn't mean this game will be boring. I honestly have no clue what will happen but our guys aren't giving up at any point. Here's to the game of the year :cheers:
