If I'm not mistaken, both of those guys made it to the Superbowl the same year (different teams).

Wasn't that the year that the Giants lucked out against the Patriots?

I went to high school with TO (a year ahead of him).
He ran track at BRHS, and I don't think he played football till his senior year.
I think Coach Savarese pulled a some strings to get TO into UTC, because he was so green at WR. TO was fast and skinny but very athletic, and UTC took a chance on him. The rest is history.
There was a coupe of guys that made the NFL from Coosa Central also (Adalious Thomas, and Justin Tuck), that BAMA, nor tBarn were able to get.
Both were petty damn good at basketball also.
A lot of guys slip through the cracks and don't get noticed, or haven't developed yet (late bloomers).
