Multiple sources report that Texas is hiring Xavier head coach Sean Miller to replace Rodney Terry as the Longhorns' head coach.

Miller has coached at Xavier since 2022, compiling a 185-87 record and two trips to the NCAA Tournament.

Before that, he was the head coach at Arizona from 2009-2021, with a 302-109 record and six trips to the NCAA Tournament. Three of those appearances were to the elite eight.

He was fired from Arizona in April of 2021 due to recruiting violations.

That’s going to leave a mark. You fire your coach and then go out and hire the guy who coached the team that beat you in NCAA tournament play in game.

If you can't beat 'em, hire 'em.
