In an interview with Robert Griffin III on his "Outta Pocket" podcast, Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed announced that he will forgo the NFL Draft and return to the Aggies next season.

Reed, a redshirt sophomore from Nashville, Tenn., has passed for 2,932 yards with 25 touchdowns and ten interceptions this season. He has also rushed for 466 and six touchdowns on the ground.

No. 7 Texas A&M will host No. 10 Miami in the first round of the College Football Playoffs on Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. CT on ABC.

Redshirt "sophomore". How many of these QBs have success in the NFL? Answer: Not many. It's a position that needs to be honed and refined through repetition unlike most positions.
