Never seen this before. At the U.S. Open on Tuesday, Tennis player Alize Cornet received a code violation for taking off her shirt on the court...

The USTA has since said it is not a violation for players to change attire during the match, regardless of gender. Luckily, she was only given a warning with no other penalty involved.

Wish she would have put her draws on backwards instead

Is she the daughter of Jim Cornet? He frequently brought a tennis racket ringside so it kind of makes sense.

That doesn't even make sense. She was still wearing a sports bra. I regularly see women at the gym in just a sports bra. It's not like she stripped down to the nude in the middle of the match.

The violation was not for her removing her shirt. She had, after all, just changed her shirt. The violation was for removing it on the court.

This should happen in tennis much more often. Especially if Genie Bouchard is playing.
