Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks might lose three quarterbacks this offseason.

Starting QB Spencer Rattler announced this week that he is headed to the NFL Draft and The Big Spur is reporting that backups Tanner Bailey and Colten Gauthier plan to enter the transfer portal.

The departures would leave Beamer with two quarterbacks on the roster: junior Luke Doty and freshman LaNorris Sellers.

South Carolina finished the 2023 season at 5-7 and 3-5 in SEC play. Beamer is 20-18 in three seasons in Columbia. This offseason will be crucial for him.

KJ Jefferson will probably be SC's QB next year. Loggains is recruiting him hard. And KJ knows and likes that offense.
