During last year's SEC media days, Arkansas RB Knile Davis proudly proclaimed that he was the league's best running back. This time around, nothing was different. Even after the ankle injury that took his 2011 season away, Davis still believes he's at the top of the running back list in the SEC.
quote:

"Still the best," Davis told ESPN.com on Wednesday. "I'm still the best running back in the SEC. I think they're good, but I feel like I'm the best because of the things I put into it. I bring everything to the game. I don't want to say I don't have a flaw, like I'm perfect, but I don't think you can find a better running back."

I applaud his confidence. I will applaud a great deal more when Big Sam and Freak destroy K-nile

I'd say Lacy more than Lattimore.

Meh...Lattimore has forgotten more than K-nile will ever know about being an SEC running back.

Lattimore is the best. Knile is in the perfect system for him. The safeties have to stay back or they'll get burned. Ford would dominate in that system.

Knile Davis better hope that knee holds up.... he ain't exactly playing in the Mountain West.... if i was gonna have to pick out of him and Lattimore, i'm going Lattimore, but if I could have anyone's RB situation, easily it's LSU (no homerism, just the honest truth).... pick your poison.... Ware, Ford, Blue, Hilliard, Hill, and even Magee.... with a converted DT blocking for them and one of the best OLines in college football in front of them.... gonna be hard to stop them, when they just keep throwing the next guy in line in there.... no cake walk, as the SEC never is, but i REALLY like our chances....

Well Davis and Lattimore are both coming off knee injuries. Will be interesting to see how they both rebound.
