Just curious...might this have anything to do with much milder weather in August/September? 95+ degree heat and southern humidity combined with a noon kickoff against Northwestern Arkansas State tends to lead to lower attendance IMO.

Number of factors, but weather can always attribute to it, stadium capacity as many have said, and what not. As far as I know, amongst those three teams, there was good weather for the majority of the season as well.

And Neyland's average attendance this year being about 20k more than Williams-Brice didn't help Tennessee this year. So what? Those teams have big stadiums and loyal fans. Why are you salty about a list?
