Alabama remains at No. 1 in the latest SEC Power Rankings after week 5 from ESPN.

1. Alabama: For about a quarter of play, it looked as if maybe Blake Barnett's transfer and Tim Williams' arrest had gotten the best of the Crimson Tide. But then Alabama settled down, Jalen Hurts made plays and the defense dominated Kentucky, which was the first game of an October slate that includes trips to Arkansas and Tennessee, followed by a home date against Texas A&M. -- Alex Scarborough

Pretty big gap between 9 and 10 no? Hardly any gap between teams 7 and 10 on the field. Would have agreed with this list a few weeks ago, current LSU football team is not coached by the man that had LSU team playing around 10th in the conference.
