SEC Commissioner Reveals Who’s Behind Playoff Expansion Push

You need 12. Everyone wants a ticket to the party. The SEC deserves 4-5 spots. In all honesty, in a typical year, the #3 and #4 SEC teams could beat the PAC 12 or BIG 12 champions. Not to mention the 2nd best teams from the BIG 10 or ACC.

There is no reason for anyone outside of the top 6 to be in the running for the national championship.

I have no problem with expansion, but would prefer 8.

Not surprising really- there is too much money to be made not to expand
