SEC commissioner Greg Sankey told CBS Sports on Tuesday that he would like the NCAA to prohibit Michigan from conducting part of their spring practice at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh caught wind of this news and sent out the following tweet on Wednesday.

AL.com's Brandon Marcello spoke to Sankey about Harbaugh's tweet which was clearly directed towards the SEC.
quote:

Sankey does not want to dive into a war of words with Michigan's coach.

"I'm not going to reduce what is an important conversation to some childhood use of Twitter," he said. "This is an important issue."

I'm starting to see why the 49ers were willing to destroy their franchise to get rid of this jerk.

Sankey just needs to open the floodgates for the entire SEC to have satellite camps and push harbaugh's shite it. JH want's to play that game then Sankey needs to prove the point. Have an sec camp in the same town at the same time as Harbitch's team. Hell, invite Miami and FSU in on it too. Run his arse out of town.

IMG College lists the following as SEC schools. Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Georgia, and South Carolina as clients. I am guessing if Sankey makes a move, IMG will fall in line.
