Per ESPN: AUBURN, Ala. -- — Linebacker CJ Allen forced a fumble at the goal line in a momentum-turning play, and No. 10 Georgia rallied to beat Auburn and win the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry for the ninth consecutive year, 20-10 on Saturday night.

Allen finished with 10 tackles, including a sack, and a pass breakup. But his most significant play came late in the second quarter and with Auburn (3-3, 0-3 Southeastern Conference) on the verge of pulling ahead 17-0.

The Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1) got a break when Auburn quarterback Jackson Arnold fumbled on a third-and-goal play with 1:32 to play in the half. Although replays appeared to show the ball breaking the plane of the goal, officials had no conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the field. So the play stood with Allen getting credit for a forced fumble and Kyron Jones getting credit for a fumble recovery.

The ball broke the plane...amazing that Stockton, later in the game, dove out of bounds but part of his body hit the pylon and it was called a TD without any discussion...Arnold breaks the plane, ball punched out and suddenly the officials can't see what is clear on the replay...The playoff era is destroying college football because it means "MONEY" and the SEC will do everything to promote their beloved teams like UGA and of course Alabama. The corresponding decline in the quality of officiating in the SEC might have something to do with that? BY the way...Kirby NOW claims he was "not signaling for a timeout" and was merely showing the officials that an Auburn player, 15 yards from the line of scrimmage was clapping. What a bogus liar he is. How do the officials not charge them with a timeout? They give them a free play...The entire game was a joke as far as officials go...might as well send a high school crew out to these games...
